Bailey and Mitch had the most charming Southern wedding at Agape Oaks in South Carolina. Getting to travel for this wedding was such a treat, especially since SC is one of my favorite places to shoot! The hanging moss, serene lake view, and historic home created the perfect backdrop for their day. It truly felt like a scene straight out of The Notebook.

Since this was a destination wedding, many guests had already spent the night at the historic home, giving the whole day a cozy, summer camp vibe. When I arrived, the bridesmaids were huddled up in bunk beds, playing Heads Up and laughing hysterically—it was such a fun, carefree scene. One of my favorite getting-ready details was Bailey’s robe, which was made from her mom’s own wedding gown. It was a sweet and sentimental gift her mom gave her that morning, adding an extra layer of meaning to the day.
